Thanks to those who attended the last walk of the Walking Week from Sandwich today. Weather was fine and quite hot when we stopped at Sandown Castle. The heavens opened whilst at the Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory for our second break and our last 3 miles were wet, wet, wet! We all arrived back safely though and agreed it had been fun. (See Jane’s pic’s of the last leg).

Certainly a walk to remember when the thunder and lightening struck after a short break!. Very wet feet were had by all due to the extensive flooding. Hope you like the outfits!

Thanks to all the walk leaders who led walks this week and all those who attended. Feedback has been very positive all round. Well done!
