An Invite to the Big Step Out
The national community walking festival to celebrate unpaid carers and the people they care for throughout the uk.
Carers Stepping Out are having a big event – a walking festival at Mote Park, Maidstone on Tuesday 25th June and are sorely in need of some extra volunteers to help them support the 3 walks taking place. Short round the lake, medium (2 miles or so) and long round the as much of the park as possible. This is for unpaid carers and the people they care for – plus families and friends who support them. There could be somewhere around 70 walkers. There will also be a marquee base near the cafe, lunch, prizes, stalls, live music etc.
